CCC inter-academy cricket final today

The grand final of the 19th annual under-14 Invitational Inter-Academy Cricket tournament, organised and conducted by Sri-Lanka’s premier Cricket Academy, CCC School of Cricket, will be played today starting at 9.00 am at the CCC turf, Maitland Crescent, Colombo.

The popular tournament is sponsored by Singer since its inception in 2004 while the co-sponsor is George Steuart Health. 

Unbeaten finalist of the tournament from 34 teams are Millennium CA and Global CA. 

The Chief Guest at this event will be Mahesh Wijewardena, Group Managing Director of Singer while the Guest of Honour will be Eranga Ranasinghe, CEO of George Steuart Health. 

The final will be a 40 over encounter and as both teams have performed exceptionally well, a thriller is expected.
