Ashlin de Silva made amends after his defeat of the ATF U16 CV2 Week 1 tennis tournament when he struck back to clinch the singles title in the second edition of the same tournament when he defeated Damsath Peiris by two sets to nil in the final played at the SLTA tennis courts at Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.

In the two semifinals of the doubles event which was played in the evening Ashlin de Silva and Damsath Peiris overcoming another Sri Lankan pair of Mark Grero and Udhera Gunasinghe by two sets to nil while Bishman Balarathnarajh and Naqeeb Hussain got the better of D. Wickramasinghe of Sri Lanka and Jayaraj Penupotala of India by two sets to nil. The doubles final is scheduled to be played today.
