Ashlin and Damsath book berths in final

Ashlin Silva and Damsath Peiris booked final berths at the ATF U16 C2 Week 2 when they came out victorious in the two semifinal encounters played in the evening session at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.

The two winners had little difficulty in brushing off the challenges of their opponents with Ashlin overcoming Yanik Dodanwala of Australia and Damsath getting the better of compatriot Bhishman Balaratnarajah by the identical winning margins of two sets to nil.

Earlier in the morning session Ashlin and Damsath recording wins against Dehan Wickramasinghe and Gisantha Sumanatileke. 

The final is scheduled to be played today.
