The much looked forward to Nations Trust Bank Golf Championship is set to return in grand fashion at the Royal Colombo Golf Club on May 22 and 23 promising to deliver one of the largest corporate golf gatherings in the country.

Organised by Nations Trust Bank, this year’s edition will introduce three shotgun starts for the very first time, marking a significant milestone in the tournament’s history already. More than 340 golfers registered which is the highest in the recent past.

NTB’s key customer segments including Private Banking, American Express Card members, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking, alongside invited RCGC members are part of the event which has steadily grown into a major fixture in Sri Lanka’s golfing calendar, blending competitive golf with networking and camaraderie which started way back in 2008.

Trophies and awards for men’s and women’s winners and runners-up, in addition to Masters and Seniors divisions will be on offer. Organisers have also planned several exciting on-course challenges to add further excitement to the tournament atmosphere.

Among the special prizes on offer will be the Longest Drive contest at the 8th hole and Closest to the PIN challenge at the 13th hole. A major attraction this year will be the spectacular Hole-in-One prize, a luxurious Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium 42mm watch valued at an impressive Rs. 8 million.

The tournament’s Overall Winner will also walk away with an all-expenses-paid golfing holiday in the Maldives at a premier golf resort.
