79th Bradby Shield dates confirmed

Trinity College will host the first leg of the 79th Bradby Shield on August 23 at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekele. Trinity 1986 skipper Senani Gunaratne will be the Chief Guest.  

The return second leg will be played on September 6 at the Royal Sports Complex.  

Meanwhile, both schools who will be playing in the same group in the League encounter will lock horns before the Bradby encounter. The encounter will take place in Kandy.  

Usmaan Shafraz will lead Trinity while Royal are yet to appoint their skipper for the 2025 season.
