Danu Innasithamby wins - The People’s Excellency Awards

Danu Innasithamby head of Channel Hi TV - has been awarded Social Media Content Creator of the Year – Sri Lanka at the prestigious People’s Excellency Awards 2025, held at the Waters Edge Hotel, Colombo.

The award recognises Danu’s consistent contribution to Sri Lanka’s digital media landscape, celebrating content that blends entertainment, culture, authenticity, and purpose. Over the years, Danu has used social media not merely as a platform for visibility, but as a space for storytelling, social dialogue, inclusivity, and representation.
