Seeking exoneration by extra-judicial means!

This gabby Diyawanna politico holds a high political office in the government. He hails from the upcountry. 

Because of his certain doings in the past, he is said to be facing a number of court cases against him. He had said in the council that all these law suits had been instituted against him to take revenge from him. 

Instead of getting relieved of these  cases by proving his innocence in courts, the politico is said to be using  extra-judicial means to get the legal proceedings against him terminated.

In fact, his insidious attempts to get a case instituted against him by a certain commission dropped unceremoniously  have become a nuisance to that commission, they say. 

However, the overtures he had been making so far have failed to draw a positive response from the commission or Alutkade, they say.
