Rebels are to be taken to task!

Some Green party top men are said to be livid about some party backbenchers making it a practice to slam the party’s policy decisions at various forums.  

A garrulous Diyawanna politico from Uva, in particular, has incurred the wrath of the party high-ups for encouraging the backbencher-rebels.

Meanwhile, the Green backbenchers are also sharply split over the executive presidency abolition proposal being pushed hard by the New Reds. 

Some rebel-backbenchers who continue to criticize the important party decisions are due to get a severe reprimand shortly, party sources say.
