He gets egg on face by making a false claim!

A young purohita hailing from Pulatisipura is reportedly telling all and sundry that he is going to found a new political party and he has already selected an ornament that monarchs wear on their head as his party symbol!

Now that he has begun enlisting party members, for starters,  he is said to be trying to hook the despondent Diyawanna members. When the members he approaches question him who is to be the leader of his party, he would reply that there is a certain prominent figure and he would appear on the scene at the proper time. 

When pressed to come out with the identity of ‘the prominent  figure,’ he refers to, he would name a young Diyawanna member hailing from a well-known political family in the country!

Meanwhile, the particular young Diyawanna member from the celebrated family had come to hear that his name was being bandied about as the leader of a political party to be founded and he has lost no time in making it known that he has no intention of leading any new political party and if anyone says so, it is a falsehood!

The young Purohita from Pulatisipura, caught making a false claim, has now got egg on his face as a result, they say.
