Ceylinco Diabetes Centre’s special offers back this November

The Ceylinco Diabetes Centre has announced that it will once again offer discounted diagnostic packages and other special benefits throughout November, to encourage screening for, and better management of, diabetes.

An annual feature in view of World Diabetes Day which falls on 14th November, the packages are designed for diagnosed diabetics as well as for healthy people wishing to assess their status, and will be priced at 15 per cent lower during November, the Centre said.

For diagnosed diabetics, the Centre will offer a ‘Comprehensive Diabetes Check-up’ for of Rs 7,000. This would include medical consultation with a complete physical examination, and tests such as Body Mass Index (BMI), Visual Acuity, Fasting Blood Sugar, HbA1C, Full Blood Count, Lipid Profile, Urine Full Report, Urine for Microalbumin, Serum Creatinine, ECG, SGPT as well as an Eye Consultation and a discussion of the test results with a Medical Officer.
Those who obtain this package would receive free-of-charge, a Total Foot Assessment (Vascular & Neurological), a Refraction Test, a Dental Check-up and a book on diabetes, the Centre said. They would also be eligible to purchase a Glucometer at a discount of 50 percent or to receive a Glucometer worth Rs 3,950 if they purchase three packs of strips, each containing 25 strips.

Additionally, diabetics who obtain the comprehensive check-up package in November will be entitled to a discount of 5 per cent on the medicines they purchase at the Centre’s pharmacy and to a discount of 10 per cent at the Vision Care outlet at the Centre.

For non diabetics, the Ceylinco Diabetes Centre will offer a package at the discounted price of Rs. 3,950. This package would include Medical Consultation and a Complete Physical Examination, and tests such as Body Mass Index (BMI), Visual Acuity, Fasting Blood Sugar, Full Blood Count, Lipid Profile, Urine Full Report, Serum Creatinine, ECG and SGPT, and a discussion of their reports with a Medical Officer.

A Refraction Test, Dental Check-up and a book on diabetes will also be provided free of charge to those who obtain this package during November, the Centre said. They would also be eligible to the special offers available on the purchase of Glucometers, and the discounts at the Centre Pharmacy and Vision Care outlet.

All tests, consultations and treatment at the Ceylinco Diabetes Centre located at Park Street, Colombo 2, take place in a comfortable non-hospital atmosphere. More information can be obtained by calling the Centre on 2490290.

In addition there is an in-house Medical Laboratory and Diabetes shop which provides diabetic medications and other diabetes-related products.
