Ten relatives sent to the gallows over murder committed ten years ago

Ten persons who are relatives -three females and seven males- were sentenced to death by Embilipitiya High Court Judge Buddhika C. Ragala over a murder committed ten years ago. 

They were indicted over the murder of youth Dineka Wijesinghe Arachchige Warna Dammika Nayana Kumara in 2011 by assaulting him with pieces of rocks, a knife and an axe. They were charged with unlawful assembly and murder. 

They were sentenced to death upon conviction of charges served against them.
