Sindunu Warapata’ Sinhala novel to be launched in Brisbane

Dr. Nimal Sedera a senior author living in Brisbane, Australia will be launching his latest novel ‘Sindunu Warapata’ on February 15th at 5.00pm at the Community Hall in Acacia ridge.

 The novel is based on the Chinese community living in Brisbane, discussing their culture and traditions, specially the modern changes in family life. Kok Min Toh, a Chinese community leader and his wife will participate as special guests of the event.   

A former lecturer who was attached to the Sinhala Department at the Peradeniya University Dr. Kumara Dissanayake is due to review the book. Dr. Jayasiri Weerawardana, President of the Federation of Sri Lankan Association is also due to speak.
