SLCSFP to host second Academic Sessions on September 21st

Sri Lanka College of Specialist Family Physicians (SLCSFP), the national professional body for specialized family physicians in the country will host its second Academic Sessions on September 21st at Monarch Imperial featuring local and international experts in primary care.

The newly elected SLCSFP council addressing a recent press briefing said the programme themed ‘Strengthening Primary Care and Annual Scientific Sessions 2025’ will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, skill development and the promotion of best practices in primary care.   

President SLCSFP Dr. Priyantha Halambaarchchige said the newly elected council has set forth an agenda including public awareness campaigns, establishing a hotline for professional support, nationwide workshops for doctors and welfare initiatives for members to address many challenges in the field.
