SL safe for tourists, U.S. Embassy confirms Level 2 advisory - MP Harsha

Sri Lanka remains safe and thriving, with the U.S. Embassy confirming that its Level 2 travel advisory for the country remains unchanged, MP Harsha de Silva said in a tweet yesterday.  

He emphasised that the advisory was a routine update. Tourism in Sri Lanka is booming, approaching levels last seen in 2018, according to Silva. He encouraged travellers to visit and experience the country’s rich culture, heritage, and natural beauty.  

“Come enjoy our culture & beauty!” Silva tweeted, highlighting the government’s efforts to promote safe and vibrant tourism.
