Open visitation day organised by Prisons Department

An open visitation for inmates was organized by the Prisons Department in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day, observed yesterday. Relatives are allowed to bring food and hygiene items in quantities sufficient for one prisoner. These visits are being conducted across all prison institutions on the island while adhering to health guidelines.
