Male, female MPs confront each other in Parliament

Female and Male MPs were seen confronting each other in Parliament yesterday with Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Chaminda Wijesiri taking on Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya whom he accused of standing up for a selected number of women MPs.   
“The Prime Minister seems to be standing up only for women MPs who flirt with her.   
“She loves these handful of women MPs” Wijesiri said.   
Government MP Lakmali Hemachandra, who confronted Wijesiri said he had insulted the PM.   
“We saw MP Prasad Siriwardana insulting a female MP yesterday and now we see Wijesiri insulting the Prime Minister,” she said.
