Four hospitalised after inhaling smoke from generator

Four people were admitted to Bogawantalawa Divisional Hospital on the afternoon of February 9 after inhaling smoke from a generator, according to the hospital’s District Medical Officer, A.S.K. Jayasuriya.  
Due to a power outage in Bogawantalawa area since that afternoon, a generator had been used to supply electricity to a retail store in the town. Subsequently, four store employees experienced breathing difficulties and were hospitalised, according to the doctor.  
He also added that the hospitalized employees include three women and one man, all aged between 25 and 35 years.
