There may be few victims of Easter Sunday attack who may bluff saying they have not received a cent as compensation despite receiving some amount, , Member of the Communications Committee Archdiocese of Colombo Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando said yesterday.

“Paying compensation is the business of the Judiciary. It was the Judiciary which ordered payment of compensation. Therefore compensation is disbursed by an office set up at Supreme Courts. They sometimes seek the assistance of the church to verify information on the victims. There may be instances where few victims may bluff claiming that they have not received a cent despite receiving some amount,” Fr. Fernando said.
