Do not collect money from school children

Southern Province Governor Bandula Harishandra has warned principals and teachers of strict disciplinary action for collecting money from school children.   
The Governor told media that he had decided to warn teachers and principals after receiving some complaints that some principals and teachers in the province had been collecting funds from school children for various functions.   
He said parents have complained that they cannot afford the amounts demanded by the principals and the teachers.
