Deputy Minister warns opposition politicians not to talk nonsense any more

Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe said yesterday that politicians such as Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila must be ready to face investigations if they continue to talk nonsense.

“Wimal Weerawansa, Gammanpila and the Opposition group think that this is the same as the previous governments. They can no longer talk nonsense. If they talk nonsense, they must be ready to face investigations and inquiries regarding their statements,” he said.

The Deputy Minister said this while responding to a question about Wimal Weerawansa being summoned to record a statement. “Gammanpila has been talking nonsense for a long time. Wimal Weerawansa has been talking nonsense. We must tell all politicians who talk nonsense like this to get ready to face investigations with evidence,” he said.
