Copra for Kandy Perahera

A consignment of copra to fuel the flaming torches carried in the Kandy Esala Perahera was donated to the Sri Dalada Maligawa yesterday. Army Commander Lt. Gen.Vikum Liyanage handed it over to Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela. The consignment contained more than 16,000 kilos of copra.
