Bribery Commission summons Gotabaya Rajapaksa

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has summoned former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to appear before the commission to record a statement. 

According to the notification, the former President is required to present himself before the commission on Friday, February 13th. The summons is in relation to an ongoing investigation being conducted by the commission. 

Meanwhile, the Bribery Commission has also issued a notice to former Chief Justice and former Attorney General, Mohan Peiris. He has been directed to appear before the commission on February 16th to provide a statement regarding the same investigation.
