Another jumbo killed by the train

The death of another wild elephant that run over by the Batticaloa bound express at Habarana was reported on Saturday night (28).   

Wildlife officers from Minneriya who visited the scene said the well grown jumbo was about five years of age and that it had been run over by train when making its way from Minneriya national park to the Kaudulla national park across the railway line.
