Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa promoted to the rank of Air Chief Marshal

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in his capacity as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has promoted Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa to the four star rank of Air Chief Marshal with effect from Tuesday (28).

Air Chief Marshal Rajapaksa took over as the 19th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force on 29 June 2023 and is scheduled to relinquish his command on 29 January 2025 at Air Force Headquarters.
