Agri Min. tells traders to take their veggies to other Centres

Following the closure of Dambulla Eco Centre

Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage informed farmers and traders to take their stocks of vegetable to several other economic centres until the Dambulla Economic Centre reopened. 

 
He pointed out that they could deal with the Veyangoda, Welisara, Meegoda and Narahenpita Economic Centres until the situation in Dambulla was restored. The Minister made this request through the Matale District COVID-19 Control Committee that met at the District Secretariat on Friday. The meeting was presided over by Chairman of the District Coordinating Committee- Nalaka Kottegoda.   


Parliamentarian Rohana Dissanayake, District Secretary S. M. G. K. Perera and Coordinator of the COVID control committee Maj. Gen. Nishantha Manage were also present.
