Actor Gagan Malik visits Aluvihare

Popular Indian film actor Gagan Malik who played the main role in the Sinhala movie Siddhartha Gautama visited Matale Aluvihare and attended religious observances. It is of significance that he chose to visit Aluvihare, the venue of documenting the Thripitaka, the three segments of the preaching enunciated by the Buddha. Chief Incumbent of Aluvihare Temple Ven. Dr. Aluvihare Saranankara Thera, and President of Matale Sri Punyawardene Society Isuru Jayawardene were present at the occasion.
