Colonel Nalin Herath to assume Executive Director role of SASSRI following military retirement

Colonel Nalin Herath, former Defence ministry Spokesman and Director General and director research, institute of National Security Studies, is set to become Executive Director of the South Asia Sustainability & Security Research Institute (SASSRI) pending approval of his premature retirement from the Sri Lanka Army. With extensive experience in national security and defence communications, he is expected to strengthen security initiatives and foster strategic collaborations in his new role, continuing his leadership beyond active service.
