King’s Day The Honorary Consulate of Belgium

The King’s Day celebration held recently at Cinnamon Life - City of Dreams brought together the Belgian community in Sri Lanka, distinguished guests, and well-wishers for an elegant tribute to Belgium’s rich heritage. Organised by the Honorary Consulate of Belgium and hosted by Honorary Consul Koenraad Pringiers, the event honoured the longstanding national tradition established in 1866 to celebrate the King of the Belgians and the monarchy’s unifying role. Supported by Sail Lanka Charter (Pvt) Ltd, the Serendipity Collection and Serendipity Experiences, the reception strengthened cultural ties between Belgium and Sri Lanka through meaningful dialogue and warm hospitality.
