Annual General Meeting Methodist College OGA

The Annual General Meeting of the Methodist College Old Girls’ Association was recently held at Waters Edge and was well attended, with strong representation from a wide range of batches, reflecting the unity and engagement of the OGA community. The AGM was followed by a felicitation ceremony honouring the Mayor of Colombo, Vraie Cally Balthazaar. The occasion also marked the farewell of the outgoing Principal, Hiranya Fernando, whose remarkable journey with her alma mater has been defined by compassionate leadership, empathy, and leading by example. In keeping with long-standing tradition, the Principal Designate, Devshani Samaranayake was ceremonially presented with the brooch in the shape of the school crest, which has been passed on from Principal to Principal.
