Dr. Medawatte appointed Lanka Hospitals CEO

The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC announced the appointment of Dr. Prasad Medawatte as its CEO with effect from August 29, 2016. 
A brief resume of Dr. Medawatte said he has more than 17 year of experience in healthcare management and healthcare operations.
Prior to his appointment as the CEO, he has held top management positions at Lanka Hospitals, including Deputy Director Medical Services.
Presently he is reading for his MBA at University of Sri Jayawardanapura and holds a Bachelor Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition- USA, Divers Examiner & Diving Physician and Certification in Diving Medicine Part I & II from Germany.
