SL has enough Oxygen stocks - Health Min.

Despite the dependency on oxygen by COVID-19 patients increasing, there is no shortage of Oxygen required to provide treatment for patients in the country, the Health Ministry said.  

Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath dismissed reports that there is an imminent danger of a dearth of Oxygen in the country.  

“Our health system is equipped with adequate stocks of Oxygen plus we also have potential to provide stocks of Oxygen to every hospital when ever the need for oxygen becomes urgent,” he underlined.
