Funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe President Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave for Japan on September 25

President Ranil Wickremesinghe will travel to Japan on September 25 to attend the funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Daily Mirror learnt. The funeral will take place on September 27. After the funeral, the President is slated to have meetings with leaders including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  

Meanwhile, he will go to the United Kingdom on Saturday to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
