Unusual sex clinic disguised as homeopathy centre raided in Ambatale

• Investigations revealed that customers had been charged Rs. 7,000 per hour

A sex centre operating under the guise of a homeopathic treatment clinic in the Ambatale area of the Mulleriyawa Police Division was raided by officers of the Western Province (South) Crime Division. Police said three suspects and a homeopathic doctor, who is believed to be the owner of the establishment, were arrested during the operation. The suspects are scheduled to be produced before court.   

Investigations revealed that the premises had allegedly been used to provide sexual services under the pretext of medical treatment, charging customers Rs. 7,000 per hour. The raid was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General Samantha Wijesekera, the Western Province Crime Division Director, and Assistant Superintendent of Police Janaka Kumara. The raid was conducted on the instructions of Police Inspector Sumith Jayasinghe. Sub-Inspectors Basnayake, along with officers 40248 Prasanna, 56805 Gunasekara, 72979 Chaminda, Police Constables 84762 Phahalai, 15449 Dharma Keerthi, 104881 Salitha, and Female Police Constables 10648 Thausalya and 11297 Lakshani participated in the raid.   

Further investigations are underway.
