SJB to call for a debate on President’s address

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will call for a debate on President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s statement on Thursday where he came up with an economic road map, Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella said yesterday.   

MP Kiriella told Daily Mirror that he will call for a debate on behalf of the party during the next parliamentary week. 

 President Ranil Wickremesnghe addressed the nation on Thursday where he outlined a four point economic road map for the country. These comprised fiscal and financial reforms, investment drive, social protection and governance and state owned enterprise transformation.
