“Raja Perahera” of the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy to be held on February 19

The ‘Raja Perahera” the Royal procession of the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy will be held on February 19.

It will comprise three tuskers and 12 elephants. The center tusker will carry the state emblem over which a golden umbrella would be held. The route of the procession will be that of the first Randoli Perehera in the Kandy Esala festival.
