Piyumi Hansamali questioned

• She was questioned following a statement given by a drug trafficker 
• It is reported that she was questioned for nine hours
• Regarding to a BMW vehicle which is said to be owned by her

 Model and actress Piyumi Hansamali has been questioned by the Illegal Assets division of police yesterday.   

It was reported that she was questioned for nine hours with regard to a BMW vehicle which is said to be owned by her.   

She has been probed following a statement given by a drug trafficker who has been caught for smuggling drugs worth Rs 60 million. A BMW vehicle which is said to be owned by Hansamali was recovered at this suspected drug trafficker’s residence in Nawala recently.   

Investigations have revealed that this suspect had purchased the said vehicle from Piyumi Hansamali.
