Only the 13A can take minority society forward

• In the current state of the country, provincial council election is necessary because many programmes can be carried out

Upcountry People’s Front’s Organizing Secretary Letchumanar Sanjay said the implementation of the 13th Amendment is the only way forward.   

He said many people are trying to abolish the 13th Amendment in the country and are leading protests here and there. 

“But only through the 13th Amendment, the society can be led to development while the minority people are also avoided, he said.

He added, “ In the current state of the country, provincial council election is necessary because many programmes can be carried out through the provincial council rather than a member of parliament or the programmes of a member of parliament.

Letchumanar Sanjay mentioned that all the minority parliamentarians should unite and come forward to support the 13th amendment and thus the rights of the minority people can be won through the 13th amendment.
