One dead and four injured in a accident at Marawila

One died and four others were injured in a head on collision between a lorry and a trishaw at Marawila in the early hours of last morning. The deceased Sampath Kelum Ekanayake (34), his mother, wife and two children from Seeduwa were on their way back after attending a religious ceremony in Puttalam when they met with the accident.   The deceased’s wife and two children and his mother were seriously injured and admitted to the Marawila base hopital.  

Investigations revealed that the driver had lost control of the vehicle due to fatigue.   Marawila police are conducting further investigations.
