Man seriously injured in land dispute

An individual whose testicles were seriously injured during a confrontation with another over a previous animosity had been admitted to the Roberiya Divisional Hospital and transferred to the Badulla General Hospital.   

The victim has been identified as a resident of Suriyagolla in Madulsima Police Area and a farmer by profession.  
Police said that initial investigations had revealed that a land dispute between the two men had resulted in the incident and that the suspect had waylaid and cut the testicles of the rival. The injured was rushed to hospital by relatives.
