Hawk with cobra in beak electrocuted

A hawk that caught a cobra had flown away with its prey only to be electrocuted when it came into contact with a high tension power transmission line at Alagalle 
in Vavuniya .  

Electricians attending to the maintenance of the power transmission line said when the hawk perched on a transformer in the high tension power transmission line, the cobra hanging from the beak had contacted with a live wire.
