EU scotches social media reports on election poll survey in Sri Lanka

European Union scotched rumours on social media that it conducted an election poll survey in Sri Lanka.

In a post on X formerly known as Twitter, European Union in Colombo said it had falsely been reported.

Social media posts based on such false reports claimed the National People’s Power (NPP) was leading the polls.
