Archchuna wants Parliament’s public toilet to be open at night

Police officers on duty in Parliament face difficulties as the public toilet in the Parliament Complex is padlocked at night, Jaffna District MP Ramanathan Archchuna said yesterday.

He told Parliament that police officers on duty in Parliament complained that the public toilet is closed at 4.30 pm as fittings in the toilet are stolen and they face difficulties due to the decision.  The MP requested the Speaker to keep the public toilet open at night.
