The wardrobe for elephants participating in the Kotte Raja Maha Vihara Perahera was prepared by the temple’s youth society ahead of the upcoming festivities. The annual exercise of drying the elephant’s dresses is a daunting task, they said, adding that the Kotte temple is the only temple in possession of a large selection of elephant dresses.
