Offering ‘Sannas Pathra’ to Asgiriya Mahanayake Thera

The newly appointed Asgiriya Mahanayake of the Siam Maha Nikaya the Most Ven. Galagama Sri Aththadassi Mahanayake Thera was offered the official ‘Sannas Pathra’ in relation to the post by President Maithripala Sirisena during a state ceremony at the Sri Dalada Maligawa premises today.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Buddha Sasana Minister Karu Jayasuriya and other disgnitaries including Dalada Maligawa Diyawadana Nilame  Pradeep Nilanga Dela graced the historic occasion. (Presidents’ Media)
