A peloton of over 25 dedicated cyclists will depart on August 29 from Independence Square on a powerful mission of hope and awareness. The 1333 Bikeathon, organized by the CCC Foundation Australia, will begin its first leg from Colombo to Ahungalla, marking the start of a transformative 13-day, 1,333-kilometer journey across Sri Lanka. This symbolic ride is more than just a physical challenge—it is a moving conversation about mental health and wellbeing. The route, spanning 13 cities, is designed to spark dialogue, break down stigma, and highlight the essential support systems needed in communities nationwide. Pix by Kithsiri de Mel
