Colombo, June 4 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated further against the US Dollar today (04), compared to Wednesday, with the selling rate rising to Rs. 340, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The Central Bank said the buying rate of the US Dollar increased from Rs. 328.00 to Rs. 330.10, while the selling rate rose from Rs. 337.97 to Rs. 340.25.
The rupee has also weakened against a basket of major foreign currencies, including the Australian and Canadian Dollars, the Euro, the British Pound and the Swiss Franc.
