Procession carrying Sandahiru Stupa Sacred Pinnacle

The ‘Sacred Pinnacle’ and the ‘Crest-Gem’ of Sandahiru Stupa left Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya in Unawatuna, Galle today morning (Oct 03) amidst religious blessings. Accordingly, two revered articles on parade will reach renowned Weherahena Rajamaha Viharaya in the evening while passing Thalpe, Ahangama, Weligama, Denipitiya Gangathilaka MahaViharaya, Mirissa, Walgama, Nupe, Matara Bodhiya, Matara Town, B 524 Road and A 2 Road. The parading of revered articles would be presided over by Ven. Maha Sanga amidst religious blessings throughout the exposition.
