Int'l day to end violence against women

The UN office in Sri Lanka and the Forum Against Gender-Based Violence, in collaboration with the Sri Lankan government, organized a walk today to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The walk started at Independence Square in Colombo and proceeded to Town Hall. A public petition was signed at the start of the event.
