The All Ceylon Nurses' Union held a protest march from Colombo General Hospitals to the University Grant Commission (UGC) today, demanding that the government grant them a genuine health degree approved by the UGC. Several union members handed over a petition to the UGC. Later, they continued their protest march towards the Health Ministry. Pix by Nimalsiri Edirisinghe
