Activists urge UN action on war-affected children

Activists from 'Youth for Change' and -Free Women' staged a protest outside the United Nations office in Colombo, Sri Lanka, today, calling for global attention to the impact of ongoing conflicts. The demonstrators specifically condemned what they described as the 'sacrifice of children to the American-Israeli war frenzy.' Holding placards and chanting slogans, they urged international bodies, including the UN, to take action to protect children in conflict zones and hold accountable those responsible for civilian harms.
